Import renovations

Renovations can be subject to property units and buildings. It is highly recommended that unit and building renovations are imported in separate sheets, where they are tied to a building or a unit by corresponding building or unit ID's. 

Import building renovations

Certain headers are mandatory in order to import a renovation, but additional details can also be imported by optional headers.

Mandatory headers

In addition to sufficient information to link a renovation to a building (see Overview), importing a renovation requires also the following mandatory fields.

* Attempting to import a renovation with an incompatible part will not raise an error, but the renovation is changed to Miscellaneous repair. Furthermore, importing a renovation for a non-existing part will not raise an error, but the renovation is changed to Part change (thus creating the part).

Import unit renovations

Certain headers are mandatory in order to import a renovation, but additional details can also be imported by optional headers. A unit renovation is updated if a unit renovation is already found in the database, where the unit ID, part, and renovation year are equivalent.

* Attempting to import a renovation with an incompatible part will raise an error and the renovation will not be saved to the database.

Portfolio id

The id of the portfolio where the building should be imported.

If the portfolio id is set Organization key header became mandatory otherwise row will be skipped.

The portfolio id should exist within the organization used as organization key and user should be a part of the organization too otherwise row will be skipped.

The key of the organization where the building should be imported.

If the Organization key is set Portfolio id header became mandatory otherwise row will be skipped.

The Organization key should exist as parent/child organization and user should be a part of the organization too otherwise row will be skipped.
